Chocolate ice cream

Welcome to F&M Chocolates, where every Friday you learn a little more.

On this day we will practice one of the countless recipes that you can make with our chocolate, in an easy, fast way and in the comfort of your home. Keep in mind that F&M Chocolates provides one of the most complete lines of ingredients for confectionery, bakery, companies and industries in order to satisfy the most demanding palates in Colombia and the world.

Ingredients: (For 2 servings)

  • 100 ml of milk (whole)
  • 100 grams of icing sugar or 100 ml of condensed milk
  • 200 grams of semi-long (real) chocolate from F&M Chocolates
  • 300 grams of milk cream
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
  • 3 egg yolks

Recommendation: The amounts of ingredients can vary depending on the amount of ice cream you want to make.

To decorate, you can use some of these options:

  • Chocolate flavored chips from F&M Chocolates
  • F&M Chocolates Strawberry Yogurt Flavored Chips
  • White chocolate flavored chips from F&M Chocolates
  • Pralines, filled with cereal from F&M Chocolates
  • Pralines, filled with almonds from F&M Chocolates

Step 1

Add in a cup, 200 grams of semisweet (real) chocolate pieces from F&M Chocolates, 100 ml of milk, 100 grams of icing sugar or 100 ml of condensed milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence.

Tips: stir the mixture for 3 minutes to obtain a greater consistency.

Step 2

Pass the mixture to heat over low heat until it is liquid.

Tips: While the mixture is on low heat, stir it so that the ingredients are well mixed.

Step 3 “cup 1”

Pass the mixture into molds with a wooden spoon, let it rest for a few minutes.

Tips: It should not necessarily be in molds where you should let the mixture rest, you can do it in a suitable plastic container.

Step 4 “cup 2”

In a cup put 3 egg yolks and beat them, then add the contents of the mixture.

Tips: Stir this mixture for 5 minutes so that it takes on a better texture.

Once that mixture is cold, add the milk cream and then stir.

Tips: stir with a wooden spoon (optional) until the milk cream is well incorporated.

Refrigerate this mixture in the freezer for 3 hours.

Tips: Once the mixture is in the freezer, monitor every hour until it has the desired texture.

Once it has the desired texture, take it out of the freezer and serve it in glasses.

Tips: You can serve the chocolate ice cream in plastic cups (degradable) or in containers that you consider appropriate.

Decorate it to your liking, you can decorate with some of these options.

Tips: Chocolate flavor chips, strawberry yogurt flavor chips, white chocolate flavor chips or you can accompany it with our almond-filled chocolates or our cereal-filled chocolates.

Tips: Once decorated, share your mix with the people you love the most.
